Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Dwight Trucking LLC website and the transportation services we provide. By requesting a quote, tendering freight or using this website, you agree to the terms set out below.

Services

We provide freight transportation, general trucking, dedicated freight, regional delivery, long-haul transportation and related logistics support. Service availability depends on equipment, lane capacity, commodity type and scheduling at the time of booking.

Quotes and Rates

Quotes are based on the shipment details provided by the customer, including weight, dimensions, commodity, pickup and delivery locations, and required service dates. If actual shipment details differ from those provided, rates may be adjusted accordingly. Unless stated otherwise, quotes are valid for fourteen days.

Booking and Cancellation

A shipment is confirmed once written acceptance has been issued by our dispatch team. Cancellations made after a truck has been dispatched to the pickup location may incur a reasonable dry run charge covering time and mileage.

Customer Responsibilities

The customer is responsible for accurately describing the freight, properly packaging and labeling it, ensuring it is legal to transport, providing accurate pickup and delivery contact information, and ensuring reasonable access and loading facilities at both ends of the move.

Prohibited Freight

We do not transport hazardous materials outside of approved classifications, illegal goods, live animals, or any commodity we have not agreed to carry in writing. We reserve the right to refuse any shipment that presents a safety, legal or equipment risk.

Delivery Times

Transit times are estimates made in good faith. Weather, road conditions, traffic, mechanical issues, government inspections and hours-of-service regulations may affect delivery. We communicate delays as soon as we become aware of them.

Liability and Cargo Claims

Our liability for loss or damage is limited to the extent provided by applicable federal transportation law and our cargo insurance coverage. Claims must be noted on the delivery receipt where visible and submitted in writing within the timeframe required by law, together with supporting documentation.

Payment Terms

Unless credit terms have been agreed in writing, invoices are payable within thirty days of the invoice date. Late balances may be subject to reasonable interest and collection costs permitted by law.

Website Use

Website content, including text, layout and graphics, is the property of Dwight Trucking LLC and may not be copied or redistributed without permission. You agree not to use this website in any way that could damage, disable or impair its operation.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina and applicable federal transportation regulations of the United States.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms and Conditions at any time. The version published on this page at the time your shipment is booked applies to that shipment.
